PROJECT DESCRIPTION

5001 Eisenhower Ave is an existing office building in Alexandria that is being converted to residential apartments. The building was originally constructed in the 1973, and was home to the US Army Materials Command (USAMC), who occupied the building until 2003. The building has been vacant ever since, despite renovations to the building in 2007-2008. The structure and facade of the building remain as is, which creates unique unit layouts and configurations. The project will have 377 apartments, and all will be workforce and affordable housing between 50% - 80% AMI (Area Median Income). It will have interior amenities, including a clubroom, fitness center, residential storage, etc., and new exterior public and private park spaces.

Construction began in January 2026, and first unit deliveries are expected in Spring 2027.
